The Hundreds and Adidas are teaming up yet again for a collaboration that merges the worlds of skateboarding and soccer.
The new Striker pack includes a sneaker and three T-shirts. The apparel features mash-ups of the each brand’s logo, like the Adidas symbol inside The Hundreds’ bomb or the adidas graphic above the streetwear brand’s name. The colors of Bobby Hundreds youth soccer team—grey and burgundy—are used heavily throughout the apparel.
Bobby’s youth soccer team served as an inspiration for the whole collection. “The team I played for, The Strikers, never brought home the trophy, but we had the most heart, and hands-down the best colors: burgundy and grey,” Bobby explains. He adds that he eventually outgrew the sport and turned to skating, but remembers his team fondly.
The sneakers also combine soccer and skateboarding by mixing the silhouette of the classic Vans Era Pro with the adidas’ three stripes.
The collection will be available at PacSun on March 21.
