The world have seen the protests in Baltimore following Freddie Gray funeral, a young black man who died while in the custody of police officers earlier in the month. New York and many other cities have decided to show solidarity for the injustice and the unfortunate of death of Gray. Protesters in New York joined in a gathering in Union square to show their support with the protesters in Baltimore.
The gathering was organized by hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons, but he wasn’t the only rap flag-bearer in attendance, as Joey Bada$$ and a couple of other members of the Pro Era crew also made it out to show their support for the cause.
