Jeremy Scott’s ongoing collaboration with Adidas Originals has always been about pushing the boundaries. From nuclear colored bears, to sneakers banned on the basis of potential racial insensitivity, we can always expect something new from this match up. The latest iteration of JS’s most popular style, the “Wings,” features a sculptural shape that’s unlike anything we’ve seen from any brand. The initial black colorway of the Wings 3.0 broke a lot of necks. We hope they’ve healed up, because now the 3.0s are coming in gold.
Solestop, the Canadian sneaker store, got their delivery of the gold Jeremy Scott x Adidas Originals Wings 3.0 and released their photos this week. The dual pairs of wings stretch from the lateral side of the shoe, over the lacing system, to fan out on the medial side. Metallic gold dominates the upper, while a tonal beige covers the sole and mesh tongue.
Look out for these to drop by the end of this month.
