Curren$y Album Review “Pilot Talk III”

This past weekend (April 4th) Curren$y dropped the third album involved in the Pilot Talk series in which he’s been hyping for some time. Pilot Talk III features Jadakiss, Riff Raff, J. Townsend, Wiz Khalifa, and Styles P.
If you’re hoping that the New Orleans emcee would change up his flow, you’ll be sadly mistaken, as he holds on tight to the seemingly southern-influenced style that he’s been polishing since the debut of his career, all while demonstrating growth in his lyricism and subject matter
In the album, Spitta offers a relaxed approach to smooth instrumentals that sound typical for his usual style. The production consisted of the works of Ski Beatz, Cool & Dre, Harry Fraud, Joey Fatts, Jhalil Beats, and Purp Dogg.
This project was a positive contribution to what is now a trilogy, showing personal growth as a writer, as well as an all around artist, and after the potential that’s being displayed, it is only expected that he will continue to advance himself into the game.
