The year-end awards are finally in and you can check out our full list here. A not-so-surprising spoiler alert, Charlie Clips wins the Male Battler of the Year award (as well as one other coveted accolade on the ballot). Bigg K garnered the second-most votes in that category and Danny Myers tied with Daylyt with 12% of the votes for a shared third place.
We caught up with three of the battlers over the last few months and got their thoughts on the landscape of battle rap as they relate to those awards. Check out the interviews below.
