Rappers We Want To Hear More From In 2015

Wiz Khalifa: It’s very apparent (to those who’ve followed him through out his career) that his subject matter and all around quality of music is drastically plummeting. Mixtapes like ‘B.A.R.’ and ‘Star Power’ define his potential as an artist, while lately, he has been lacking the aspects of musical work ethic that brought him where he is today.

A$AP Rocky: Although the south-influenced A$AP member does show progress as time goes on, it’s very little, and over a long period of time. Not because he’s not growing as an artist, but due to the lack of releasing content on a consistent basis! This is a rapper with potential that very seldom releases work to show for his possible growth as a musician.

Nipsey Hu$$le: The ‘Bullets Ain’t Got No Name’ series ignited the west-coast emcee’s career, reflecting his authenticity as he shares his past struggles over west-coast type instrumentals. However, Nipsey is seemingly straying from relatable music, as he more or less conforms to lyrics that refer to more materialistic circumstances much like many rappers do today.

These are artists that, although are years into their careers, may still redeem themselves and turn out good music, just as well as they may lose a strong work ethic along with their fan base.
