Barbershop movie is definitely in the works and Nicki Minaj has been confirmed as an actress for the new follow-up role.
Former Barbershop cast-members Ice Cube, Eve, and Cedric The Entertainer are all set to make their own return in the upcoming sequel.
Nicki will be playing the part of Draya, a hairdresser at the combined beauty and barbershop that serves as the focal point of the movie, as her first role since her acting debut in The Other Woman last year. This should be an interesting role for Nicki especially as a salon stylist and the character she will be portraying.
