Ya mans Akon is finally speaking out about using his brothers as doubles to perform as him at the height of his career. The not so secret secret is that Akon used to use his brother as a body double to make performance dates during his busy tour schedule. He stated to TMZ that he couldn’t be in more than one place, and some days he needed to be. It must be a thrill to get that off on the people but honestly, they don’t look THAT much alike. I feel like if I was in the audience I would be like “that is NOT Akon yo!”. His brother Bu, who apparently took the stage as Akon in the past, but is totally a different dood, is now known in the industry as an exec and could never get it off today.
