Topping headlines is the latest RICO round-up that snagged Tsu Surf. The New Jersey Battle rapper was arrested on federal racketeering charges connected to a DEA case. Following a raid by authorities, Surf barricaded himself in a house in Jersey City and tried to bug out the back door but was forced back in. He eventually cooperated with crisis negotiators and turned himself in to the authorities. He’s currently being held at Essex County Jail in Newark, New Jersey as he looks to start a lengthy legal battle with the feds. It’s again just the latest in a string of RICO cases that are cleansing Hip Hop. Really looks like these rappers are out here with nothing better to do than play around with they freedom.
