The Rolling Loud Festival Returns for 2021

Of the many Coronavirus closures and cancellations, few were felt like the postponement of in person music festivals. Originally scheduled for the weekend of May 8, 2020 then postponed until the voided Presidents’ Day 2021, the revolutionary Rolling Loud Festival has been announced to finally return July 23-25, 2021 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, FL.

Organizers have promised that all tickets for the 2020 festival will be honored but have not elaborated on what acts from the delayed line-up will be on hand. Confirmation landed that the headliners, A$AP Rocky, Travis Scott and Post Malone will be honoring their past commitments though the website promises to provide more details soon regarding the full roster of acts.

The carefully curated line-up of the 3 day 2020 carnival included heavy-hitters and up-and-comers alike such as 21 Savage, DaBaby, MoneyBagg Yo, Y&K Osiris, Rod Wave, Gucci Mane, Lil’ Yachty, NLE Choppa (who probably won’t be back), Pop Smoke (who definitely won’t be back), Mozzy, Lil’ Durk, Curren$y, Polo G, Rucci, Roddy Rich, Young Dolph and Doja Cat, just to name as many as we can.

The news is a breath of fresh air for those aching to return to in-person music festivals. A year of Versuz battles and Zoom performances have driven home the concept of not knowing what you have ’til it’s gone. A limited number of tickets have gone on sale as social distancing will be enforced and there are even sponsored giveaways on the official festival website.

Despite the pandemic postponement, the Rolling Loud Festival continues to grow this year with July premier in Portugal, extended to five days featuring performances by Travis Scott, Cardi B, Future. Can Americans travel to Portugal yet?
