The Legendary Air Jordan Cement 3’s “Re-imaged” Releases This Weekend

When Jordan Brand decided to release the Air Jordan 1 Hi “Lost & Found” last year, the imprint satisfied the cravings of loyal sneakerheads that tend to favor MJ’s OG colorways. And in 2023, the Beaverton brand is looking to recreate that same nostalgic feeling by lending the same treatment to the Air Jordan Cement 3’s “Reimagined”. And ahead of its official release, The Rap Scene got a chance to receive an up-close perspective of the kicks.

The beauty of this bring-back lies within the subtle-yet-striking details. The stand-out features arrives on the heel counters, which trade out the usual Jumpman logo for a “Nike Air” hit that avid Jordan heads tend to favor. The classic elephant print returns on the overlays, but it has been updated with thinner lines to align with the aesthetic of the version that originally dropped in ‘88. Additionally, the midsoles have been tinted with a pre-yellowed paint job which was intentionally executed to spruce up the sneakers with a vintage look and feel. Premium white leather makes up the base layer’s build while “Fire Red” accents sprinkle to the tongue branding, eyelets and Nike spell-outs on the soles.

Look for these to drop on March 11 via SNKRS and other retailers like Shoe Palace for $210 USD.
