Lollapalooza Returns July 29 – August 1, 2021

Of the many anticipated, live in-person music festivals sorely missed during the quarantine, few reach the pinnacle of expectancy than that of Lollapalooza. The 4 day festival is confirmed to return July 29th – August 1st this year in Grant Park in Chicago, Illinois with a lineup that reaches every corner of the music industry.

As usual, numerous leading Hip Hop acts will perform at the festival including Da Baby, Megan Thee Stallion, Young Thug, Playboi Carti, Roddy Rich, Jack Harlow, Trippie Redd, Polo G, Freddie Gibbs, Toosii, Saint JHN and many more leading up to top billers Post Malone and Tyler the Creator. The festival has also been recognized for offering some of the best in Chicago cuisine as well as giveaways alongside some pretty dope interactive experiences.

Taking over the shores of Lake Michigan next to the downtown skyline, the festival is reported to run at full capacity as the country re-opens following the shutdown. Dr. Allison Arwady, Chicago Department of Public Health Commissioner states, “Certainly an outdoor setting is lower risk than an indoor setting and when we pair that with the agreement that the people attending will be vaccinated or tested every day that really is about as low risk a setting as we can have, and so we felt confident that we would be able to move ahead without capacity restrictions.”

Chicago will certainly be a choice destination during the weekend of the festival as individual and four-day tickets are already on sale at www.lollapalooza.com with general admission, VIP and platinum level access that offer the best views, getaways from the crowds to exclusive lounges with luxury perks. Cabanas and Lolla Insider Experiences are available for those who want to splurge.

Lollapalooza has been a leading entity in the music festival-sphere and its return signals the drive towards a return to social normalcy. In-person concerts and festivals were some of the most cited amongst Americans as one of the most missed activities put on halt due to the global pandemic. Other festivals slated to return in 2021 are the Pitchfork Music Festival, also in Chicago as well as the always electric, Travis Scott’s Astroworld.
