Yung Miami and JT of the rap duo City Girls have been making waves since their 2017 beginnings and now they’ll be doing it appropriately in their own bikini-wear line, IconSwim.
Released on April 30th, the Florida based, Quality Control group appeared on Instagram to promote the line of sexy and affordable bikinis, swimsuits and pool-side apparel and the internets are still looking. It’s the first in what should be numerous business ventures for the Girls, outside of music.
The City Girls made the drop following their recent visit to the buzzy Respectfully Justin Podcast where JT spoke about how she linked with lover Lil Uzi Vert, “he came to see me. He came to Atlanta. I was still in the halfway house. He had a bag full of money. I had a little Chanel bag and he told me to take as much as you can. I could only fit thirty thousand and I was so mad.”
IconSwim is being celebrated for the “overcoming-the-odds” qualities that stand out when one considers JT’s past as a federal convict, serving roughly two years for identity theft and related charges. Most people are not able to turn their lives around after life’s circumstances find them in such a situation so salute to her.
The line features two-piece and one-piece suits, sheer cover-ups and accessories with a distinctive tiger-print motif available in all sizes and their 2 million followers got a peek at just how well the girls fit into a few of the selections.
