David Banner suing Young Money for not being paid for production on “The Carter III”

David Banner produced two songs for Lil’ Wayne’s Tha Carter III album, and he has never seen a dime from his work.

The producer was the man behind the tracks “La La” and “P***y Monster”, and he was given a contract from Young Money back in 2008 saying he would be paid $138,787.19. On top of that, he was set to receive $15,392.57 in royalties from the Streets Is Watchin album.

Young Money is notorious for not paying its producers and ripping off its artists. Back in 2012, two producers, Andrews “Drew” Correa and Marcos “Infamous” Rodriguez, also filed federal lawsuits against YM for unpaid tracks and royalties.
